The University of Westminster is located on Regent Street, Westminster, London, and was founded in 1838. Westminster consists of 4 campuses in central London, 3 of which are located in close proximity to each other in the West End of London. The University's headquarters is on Regent Street, and the other three are in Fitzrovia, Marylebone and Harrow, London. The University's Regent Street campus consists of a group of buildings surrounding 309 Regent Street, the historic centre of the University. Included in these buildings are the Welsh Street building and the Little Titchfield Street building, which houses the libraries of the School of Social Humanities, including the Law School. The former Regent Street Cinema sits in the midst of 309 Regent Street, which was converted into a student lecture hall. They have a plan to remodel it as a public movie theatre that also functions as a lecture hall.
