Grand Central is one of the largest student accommodation in Liverpool and offers ensuites and studios for students to rent. The Grand Central Liverpool could accommodate over 1200 beds. Grand Central student accommodation is close to the Liverpool city centre and public transit, making it students easy to get around. From Grand Central Liverpool, Liverpool John Moores University is 5 minutes walk away, and University of Liverpool.is 13 minutes. 

 

Features

In Grand Central Liverpool student accommodation, all the room are renovated at 2013. There are three floor plans.

Studio (private kitchen and bathroom)

En-suite (shared kitchen and private bathroom)

Non En-suite (shared kitchen and bathroom)

All the rooms of Grand Central Liverpool are fully furnished, providing students with a completely independent environment and creating a home-like residence. 

Grand Central Liverpool student accommodation offers free high-speed Wi-Fi coverage in all rooms and common areas. Housekeeping staff clean common areas such as kitchens and living rooms, reducing the time spent keeping the house clean. A washing machine and dryer are available in the laundry room, which students must use with coins. The highlight of Grand Central Liverpool is that your rent includes water, electricity, and broadband charges. 

 

Location and What's Hot?

Grand Central Liverpool is located in the heart of Liverpool city centre, next to Liverpool's main shopping street. There is a wide range of supermarkets near the apartments, making it very convenient for you to live in the city centre. Aldi, Wilkinson's, Boots, Superdrug and Tesco are just across the road from Grand Central Liverpool. In addition, KFC, Costa Coffee, Caffe Nero and other fast food restaurants and cafes are all close to the Grand Central. There is also a wide range of shops in the Grand Central neighbourhood, so you can buy what you need for your daily life here. The shopping centres St Johns Centre, the Met Quarter and Liverpool ONE are all within a 3-minute walk from Grand Central.

Grand Central Liverpool student accommodation is close to the City Campus and Mount Pleasant campuses of Liverpool John Moore University, which are a 10-minute walk away. Grand Central is a 12-minute walk to the University of Liverpool's School of Engineering and a 17-minute walk to the University of Liverpool's School of Management. It is close to both Lime Street and Queens Square bus stops, making it easy to get to Liverpool Hope University and Liverpool John Moore University's IM Marsh campus.

Grand Central student accommodation offers 24/7 security and maintenance service via the free MyUnite App. If students have special needs, Grand Central can provide accessibility equipment. The flat's Emergency Command Centre is on "standby" 24/7 to help students with emergencies.

No Visa No Pay

No Visa No Pay (NVNP)
a.If the student who has completed their booking has their visa application rejected, the student can provide evidence of the refusal and the booking will get cancelled with no liability.
b.For the evidence at 7(a) above to be valid it must:
i.be submitted within 7 days of the student receiving it;
ii.include the student's name and the date at which it was received;
iii.be received prior to 31 August of the Academic Year for those with tenancies starting in August or September;
iv.be received prior to 15 January of the Academic Year for those with tenancies starting in December or January.
c.Students can only cancel under 7(a) above, and under the NVNP policy, if they have applied for a visa and can evidence this. Students who haven't got a visa because they haven't applied for one are not eligible for the NVNP cancellation policy.

No Place No Pay

No Place No Pay (NPNP)
a.If the student who has completed their booking for a room is not accepted at a university in the city where they have booked a room with us, the student is able to cancel their room outside of the cooling-off period without the need for a replacement tenant provided they are able to provide evidence that they have not met the requirements for their offer or have been rejected by the university for some other reason.
b.For the evidence at 6(a) above to be valid it must:
i.be submitted within 7 days of the student receiving it;
ii.include the student's name and the date at which it was received;
iii.be received prior to 31 August of the Academic Year for those with tenancies starting in August or September;
iv.be received prior to 15 January of the Academic Year for those with tenancies starting in December or January.
c.We reserve the right to check with the university if the evidence is genuine or fake. Providing fake / photoshopped documents is forgery and is an offense punishable by law in the UK.

Refund Guarantees Time Limit

3 days to accept the offer+ 7 days cooling-off period
Once a booking is processed, the student has 3 days to accept the offer. It means for the student and the guarantor to accept the contract and pay the £250 advance rent payment. (For bookings in England only. No Advance Rent Payment is required for bookings in Scotland).

Once these steps are done, the booking is completed.
If one of the step is not completed within these 3 days, the offer will expire.
If the student still wants a room, we can re-process a booking, but we cannot guarantee that the same room or the same price will be available.
Once the booking is completed, the student has another 7 days to change their mind and cancel their booking without any reasons. This is called the cooling-off period.

Making a Booking
Once a booking is processed, the student has 3 days to accept the offer. It means for the student and the guarantor to accept the contract and pay the £250 advance rent payment. (For bookings in England only. No Advance Rent Payment is required for bookings in Scotland).

Once these steps are done, the booking is completed.

If one of the step is not completed within these 3 days, the offer will expire.

If the student still wants a room, Accommodation Supplier can re-process a booking, but Accommodation Supplier cannot guarantee that the same room or the same price will be available.

International cancellation provisions
These additional cancellation provisions apply for any individual making a booking outside of the United Kingdom.

Cooling Off Period – the provisions for the Cooling Off Period set out in the main Cancellation Policy shall apply;
After the Cooling Off Period - Once the Cooling Off Period has expired the Tenant remains liable for the rent for the whole length of the tenancy unless they want to cancel with one of these 3 conditions:
No Place No Pay: the provisions for No Place No Pay set out in the main Cancellation Policy shall apply, save that this option shall not be available after the 31st August in the year the Tenancy Start Date is due to occur.
No Visa No Pay:if the student doesn’t get their visa to come and study in the UK, the student must send us the visa application rejection letter within 7 days of receiving it. On receipt of the required documentation, it will be verified and, provided Accommodation Supplier are satisfied, Accommodation Supplier will cancel your Tenancy Agreement and refund any deposit or advance rent paid in full. This option shall not be available after the 31st August in the year the Tenancy Start Date is due to occur.
No ATAS certificate, No Pay: Some international students coming to the UK to study in very specific fields need to apply for an ATAS certificate. (Academic Technology Approval Scheme). If a student’s ATAS certificate application is rejected the student must send us the ATAS certificate application rejection letter within 7 days of receiving it. On receipt of the required documentation, it will be verified and, provided Accommodation Supplier are satisfied, Accommodation Supplier will cancel your Tenancy Agreement and refund any deposit or advance rent paid in full. This option shall not be available after the 31st August in the year the Tenancy Start Date is due to occur.
The cancellation requests along with the proof documents must be sent by the student, from the email address they have registered their account with Accommodation Supplier.

If an agent is involved the evidence must be sent to the agent and then forwarded on to Accommodation Supplier.

Replacement Tenants – Before your Tenancy Start Date has occurred

If you have proposed a replacement Tenant prior to your Tenancy Start Date, Accommodation Supplier has complete discretion as to whether it:

a. accepts the proposed replacement Tenant and enters into a Tenancy Agreement with them;
b. places the room back on general sale; or
c. allocates the room it to an alternative student on a waiting list to enter into a Tenancy Agreement.

Accommodation Supplier will release you from your Tenancy Agreement on the date seven days after any of the above has occurred.

The student remains liable for the rent unless they find a replacement Tenant.
