Roommates are randomly assigned and follow the fate. Express collection is safe and convenient
Generally speaking, the price/performance ratio is not bad. The front desk service is good. The supporting facilities are not bad. The location is not bad. However, the internal facilities of the apartment are generally good.
The apartment can help collect express delivery, which is very convenient. It feels better to live on the top floor. No one will run around upstairs. The sound insulation in Britain is really bad. It is better to bring your own earplugs. There are Lidl, Morrison and B & M nearby, which are quite convenient.
Walls, like paper, have never lived in a room with such poor sound insulation in England. You can hear the roommate next door making a phone call and the phone vibrating in the room. I went directly to book other apartments in half. I regret that I didn't think about choosing a house in this city (because all the accommodation was OK before)
The windows are relatively small and the facilities are relatively old. Especially the toilet toilet shower, very small. There is a curtain hanging between the bathing place and the toilet. My friend came to my house to live in prison.
The elevator will also break down. It has been repaired for a period of time for a month.
But the front desk is very good, and the apartment organizes activities basically every week.
I am incredibly grateful for the support I received from Uhomes, particularly from my advisor, Mrs. Thu Phuong from Vietnam. Without her dedication, I doubt I would have been able to secure such a great accommodation to begin my academic journey in the UK. Mrs. Phuong was proactive in providing me with a list of excellent housing options that met my specific needs, particularly regarding cancellation policies. She went above and beyond, personally reaching out to landlords to ensure my requirements were addressed. No matter the time, even in the evenings, she was always available to answer my questions and offer guidance. I want to express my sincere thanks to Uhomes and Mrs. Phuong for their outstanding support throughout this process. Their commitment made all the difference, and I couldn't be more appreciative.

How to pay rent?
There are two ways to pay the apartment rent, online payment or bank wire transfer 1. For online payment, please log in to the Account of Unite Students, click the Payments page, enter the rent amount to be paid in the dialog box, click the Pay button, and enter the payment card information. If it is a British savings card, select the Debit card type (the corresponding Billing address needs to be changed to a British address), if it is a Chinese credit card, select the Credit card type (the billing address remains the domestic address) 2. For bank wire transfer, please log in to the Account of Unite Students and click Booking page, download the Bank Transfer Info file, communicate with the bank in advance, and bring the corresponding materials to the bank counter or self-service money transfer machine for remittance. In the remittance postscript, please fill in the personal reservation information (refer to the content required in the bank_tranfer_info file). The wire transfer does not arrive in real time , please be sure to wire transfer 1-2 weeks before the deadline to ensure that the funds arrive on time. Since the bank will charge a cross-border payment service fee, please pay the required rent + service fee when paying the fee to ensure that the full amount arrives.
