College Lane, Hatfield

College Lane is a student accommodation in Hatfield, located on the College Lane campus, which is the University of Hertfordshire's student accommodation. The flats offer 3 room types, Non-En-suite, En-suite and Studio, and aspire to meet the various needs of students. The rooms are furnished with matching furniture and bedding, and the kitchens are equipped with a wide range of household utensils. The flats are within walking distance of the South Campus buildings, and a free shuttle bus is available to the North Campus.

Features

College Lane offers three room types: the Non-En-Suite, which requires a shared bathroom and kitchen; the En-suite, which requires only a shared kitchen and living room with its own bathroom; and the Studio, which is a fully self-contained living space with its private kitchen and bathroom. The different room choices result in a price difference, but all rooms have matching furniture and bedding to help you quickly settle into your new surroundings. All rooms are furnished with bedding and furniture to help you settle in quickly, and the kitchens are equipped with a fridge, oven, hob and other amenities.

Inside the area outside the flat is The Oval, the reception and communal area. A parcel storage is out here, where your deliveries will be securely stored. Next door is the gym and outdoor sports hall where you can let off some energy with your friends.

Location and What's Hot? 

College Lane is located on the College Lane campus; downstairs is the UH Student Estate Bus Stop. You can get to Co-op Food, a supermarket chain selling groceries & household goods, in 3 minutes or 8 minutes to The Galleria, Hatfield's best-known shopping centre, which contains over 20 shops, including TK Maxx, Waterstones, Superdrug and Sports Direct. When it's time to eat, Wagamama, Pizza Express, Real China, and Nando's all offer delicious food.ODEON is also located here, making it an excellent choice for a weekend getaway with friends.

The city centre area is a 15-minute bus ride from the flat and has an ASDA supermarket, perfect for stocking up on groceries. Alternatively, Poundland and Iceland are well-known UK supermarket brands offering various goods and frozen food.

Transport

College Lane is located within the College Lane campus and is only a few minutes walk to the academic buildings. To get to de Havilland Campus, take the free ferry from the UH Student Estate, or The Forum bus stops on campus. For travelling to other cities, you can take a 20-minute bus ride or a 4-minute drive to Hatifled train Station.

Security & Services

A 24-hour electronic access control system and video surveillance system are in operation at all times, and external visitors must pass through multiple electronic gates before entering the hostel. In addition, the hostel has its own independent facilities maintenance team. After moving in, any problems with the hostel facilities can be reported directly to the hostel front desk, and the hostel will be repaired as soon as possible for you.
