Townsville is also close to the flats, and there are a lot of restaurants of different nationalities, such as Joy Thai Restaurant, Miss India, and Graziers Steakhouse, which are all very popular among students. There are banks and hospitals around the flat.

Saints Catholic College is a 5-minute walk, FIT College: Fitness Courses in Townsville is a 7-minute walk, JCU Student Association is the same distance, and The John Flynn College and Flynn College are about 15 15-minute walk away. The John Flynn College and the College of Business, law and Governance are about a 15-minute walk away. 15 minutes by car to Stuart Railway Station and Townsville Railway Station. 19 minutes by car to Townsville Airport.

The flats have electronic access control, CCTV video surveillance and barrier-free access. The flats are also covered with a high-speed internet connection, free of cost to the students. There are also laundry rooms, social areas and every other facility imaginable in a student flat.
